Websites for trade businesses across Australia hello@fairdinkumsites.com

The best tradie in town still loses the job if nobody can find him.

We build websites for Australian trade businesses — quick to load, right on a phone, set up properly on Google, and written so AI assistants quote you when someone asks for a plumber near them.

01

The audit

Before we pitch anyone we check their site against the same six things. No vague talk about "digital presence" — these either pass or they don't, and you can verify every one yourself.

01

No website at all

Every customer who searches before ringing goes to whoever does have one. This is the most common finding, and the most expensive.

Loses jobs
02

Doesn't work on a phone

Most local searching happens on a phone. A site built for a desktop screen gets pinched, zoomed, and closed within seconds.

Loses jobs
03

Missing from Google's local results

An unclaimed or half-filled Google Business Profile keeps you out of the "near me" searches that actually turn into phone calls.

Invisible
04

No secure connection

Without HTTPS the browser puts a warning in front of your site before anyone reads a word of it. That alone sends people back to the results page.

Warned
05

Slow to load

Bloated pages lose people before the first line appears. On a phone, on regular mobile data, that happens more often than most owners realise.

Loses jobs
06

Invisible to AI assistants

More people now ask an assistant instead of scrolling results. Without structured data describing your trade, hours, area and prices, you don't get mentioned in the answer at all.

Not quoted

Every site we build clears all six. That's the job — not a redesign for the sake of it.

02

The work

Real pages, not mockups. Every screenshot is the actual site, exactly as it loads for a customer.

Three trades, three designs

Each is drawn up for the trade rather than recoloured from a template — different type, palette and layout every time. All three carry the same fundamentals underneath: published prices, an FAQ written as complete answers an assistant can quote, structured data, and a layout built for a phone first.

Founding clients

We're new, and we'd rather say so than dress it up. Here's what being early actually gets you.

The founding price

$400 instead of the $600–1,200 this becomes once there's a portfolio behind it. Early clients carry more risk, so they pay less.

The risk sits with us

You see your site built, with your real details in it, before any money changes hands. If it's not right, you've lost nothing.

You get the attention

Being one of the first few means your job isn't queued behind forty others, and you can still get us on the phone.

There are no reviews on this page yet. When we've done the work and a client says something worth quoting, it goes here with their name and their business — not before. A site that invents its own testimonials is exactly the sort of thing we'd flag in an audit.

04

How it works

No deposit and nothing to sign before there's something real in front of you.

01

You get a preview

We build your site with your real business name, town, services and prices in it. Free, and no obligation to go further.

02

We agree a price

Quoted up front, in writing. It doesn't move afterwards — what you're told is what you pay.

03

It goes live properly

Your domain, your Google Business Profile set up correctly, and the structured data that gets you into AI answers.

04

You own it

Source code handed over. Walk away or hand it to someone else whenever you like — there's nothing to unlock.

05

What it costs

Published here, the same way we publish it on every site we build. Founding-client rate while the portfolio fills out.

The build
$400 one-time
  • Custom site, designed for your trade
  • Built for a phone first
  • Google Business Profile set up properly
  • Structured data for AI search
  • Full source code handed over
Upkeep — optional
$150 / month
  • Content and price updates
  • Hosting handled
  • Cancel any time, site keeps working

If a job needs more than the standard build — a booking system, many pages, photography — we'll quote it before starting, not after.

06

Why this exists

Plenty of genuinely good trade businesses around Australia are losing work to a website that hasn't been touched since 2014. Not because the business is bad — because nobody has had a spare weekend to fix the site, and the quotes they've had back were four thousand dollars and a twelve-month contract.

So: a fixed price, the work shown before you pay, and the code handed over at the end. No agency overhead, no retainer you can't get out of, and no talk about "digital strategy".

Who you're dealing with A small team working with trades right across Australia. You deal with us directly — no account managers, no call centre, and the people building your site are the ones answering your email.

Want to see what yours would look like?

Send your business name and town. We'll build a preview and send it over — then we can talk about whether it's worth doing.
