Mobile mechanics across Brisbane's northside. Book it, leave the keys, go to work.
Everything a workshop does for a service or a brake job, done where the car is already parked.
A standard four cylinder logbook service. Brakes add about an hour. You get a two hour arrival window, not a vague morning.
Clearance on the driver's side and your keys. We bring our own power, lighting, oil and waste containment.
Anywhere in the coverage area below. The price you are quoted is the price on the invoice.
Most mechanics make you ring to find out. Here is the whole list.
Anything larger is quoted in writing before a spanner comes out. If a second fault turns up mid-job, we stop and call you — it never simply appears on the invoice.
Nundah, Chermside, Clayfield, Ascot, Hamilton, Stafford, Kedron, Aspley, Everton Park, Wavell Heights, Northgate and Banyo. No travel charge anywhere on that list.
“Told me the battery was fine and the problem was a corroded earth strap. Fixed it in twenty minutes. The place up the road had already quoted me a battery and an alternator.”
No. Under Australian Consumer Law a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because someone other than the dealer serviced the car. Kerbside Auto stamps your logbook, uses parts that meet or exceed manufacturer specification, and gives you an itemised invoice — which is exactly what a dealer needs to see if a warranty claim is ever made.
A parking space with about a metre of clearance on the driver's side, and your keys. That is it. We carry our own power, lighting, tools, oil and waste containment, so we do not need access to your house, your tap or your power point. Most customers leave the keys and go to work.
Usually yes. We carry $20 million public liability insurance and can send the certificate straight to a building manager or facilities team if they ask for it before approving access. Underground carparks with a height limit under 2.1 metres are the one place we sometimes cannot fit the van.
We stop and call you before touching it. You get told what it is, what it costs, and whether it is urgent or can wait until the next service. Nothing extra goes on the invoice without you saying yes first, and if you decline you pay only for the work you originally booked.
A standard four cylinder logbook service takes about ninety minutes. Brakes add roughly an hour. We give you a two hour arrival window rather than a vague morning or afternoon, and we send a text when the van is fifteen minutes away.
